On November 3, 2025, as part of their visit to the United Kingdom, the rectors of higher professional education institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan – Rector of the Tajik International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship Ubaydullo Asrorzoda, Rector of Tajik State Pedagogical University named after S. Ayni Ahliddin Ibodullozoda, and Rector of Bokhtar State University named after Nosiri Khusrav Mahmadali Qurbonzoda – held a meeting with the leadership of the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) in the United Kingdom.
During the meeting, the rectors discussed cooperation with accreditation agencies in ensuring the quality of education and expressed their intention to undergo international programmatic and institutional accreditation.
Subsequently, the Head of the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA), Nick Bailey, and the Agency’s Executive Director for Business Development provided detailed information on the procedures and requirements for conducting international programmatic and institutional accreditation.
It should be noted that the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) is one of the most reputable accreditation and quality assurance bodies in the United Kingdom, enjoying high international recognition.
During the meeting, the parties agreed to jointly pursue international accreditation for the Tajik International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship, the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after S. Ayni, and the Bokhtar State University named after Nosiri Khusrav.
This initiative will be implemented based on mutual requests and a cooperation agreement between the parties.
