BRIEF INFORMATION ABOUT THE RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AND GREEN ECONOMY

The State Institution "Scientific Research Institute of Sustainable Development and Green Economy" at the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan is a dynamic research platform dedicated to addressing modern challenges in sustainable development and ecological transformation within the country.

The Institute was established by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Resolution No. 199, dated March 30, 2024, with the goal of contributing to the country’s ecological and economic transformation.

Mission

The Institute’s mission is to promote environmental and economic sustainability through scientific research and the implementation of innovative solutions. It plays a pivotal role in developing sustainable strategies aimed at improving economic performance, protecting the environment, and enhancing the quality of life.

Aims and Objectives

The Institute's primary goal is to develop scientific capacity and support policies of sustainable development and the green economy in the Republic of Tajikistan. It seeks to address key issues of sustainable development through scientific and applied projects.

The main objectives

• conducting research in the fields of green economy, sustainable development, and ecology;
• developing and implementing innovative projects aimed at introducing green technologies;
• providing scientific recommendations for the implementation of state policy in the field of sustainable development;
• promoting the ideas of the green economy through educational programs and public initiatives;
• training high-level specialists with in-depth knowledge in sustainable development and the green economy;
• organizing international and national scientific conferences, seminars, and forums;
