The State Institution “Research Institute for Sustainable Development and Green Economy” of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan plans to hold an International Conference on April 15, 2025, on the topic: “The Contribution of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and Green Diplomacy”. The conference is dedicated to the International Year of Glaciers’ Preservation – 2025.
Representatives of relevant ministries and agencies, scientific and higher educational institutions, international organizations, as well as scientists, expert and researchers are invited to participate in the conference.
The conference will focus on the following key topics:
– Global initiatives of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon in the field of sustainable development, climate change mitigation, and glacier preservation;
– The contribution of the Republic of Tajikistan to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs);
– Green diplomacy as a tool for international cooperation;
– Climate change adaptation and sustainable development: mechanisms and international best practices;
– Integration of green economy principles into Tajikistan’s economic development in the context of international cooperation;
– Social aspects of sustainable development: promoting gender equality, reducing poverty, and improving quality of life.
The conference proceedings will be published as a collection of articles and placed in the electronic scientific library eLIBRARY.RU.
To participate in the conference, participants must submit their presentation topics for inclusion in the program, as well as electronic versions of their papers and scientific articles for publication by April 5, 2025. Materials should be sent via e-mail to: green.iutet@gmail.com

The conference will be held at the “Millat” Conference Hall of the Serena Hotel.
Format: In-person and online.
Travel and accommodation expenses for non-resident participants are covered by the sending organization.
