On July 13, 2026, the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan held a press conference to present the results of the university’s activities for the first half of 2026.
The event was attended by the university’s leadership and heads of its structural divisions, as well as representatives of more than 78 national and local media outlets.
The press conference was opened by the Rector of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan, Professor Ubaydullo Sattor Asrorzoda, Doctor of Economic Sciences. He delivered a comprehensive presentation on the university’s major achievements in education, research, innovation, international cooperation, digital transformation, green economy development, and the strengthening of its material and technical infrastructure.
It was noted that during the first half of 2026, the university achieved significant progress in improving the quality of education, expanding international partnerships, advancing scientific research, training highly qualified specialists, promoting dual education, implementing digital technologies, and advancing the “Green University” program.
Media representatives were also provided with detailed information on the activities of the university’s two dissertation councils, the establishment of the new scientific journal Mathematical Research, the organization of international conferences, the expansion of cooperation with foreign higher education institutions, the implementation of international projects, and the active participation of students in national and international academic Olympiads and competitions.
During the press conference, journalists raised questions regarding the development of higher education, international cooperation, research policy, the training of competitive professionals, investment attraction, the green economy, tourism development, and other issues related to the university’s activities. The university’s leadership provided detailed and comprehensive answers to all questions.
