Brief Information

Ubaidullo Asrorzoda is the Rector of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan, doctor of economic sciences, professor. He graduated from Tajik National University in 2008 and since then has held prominent positions in the fields of science and education. Since 2020, he has served as the rector of the Institute of Tourism, Entrepreneurship, and Service of Tajikistan. Following its transformation into the International University in 2022, he was appointed Rector of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan.

The scientific and research activities of professor Ubaidullo Asrorzoda focus on the development of tourism and entrepreneurship, economic cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and Central Asian countries and China, as well as other pressing issues in the global economy.

Professor Asrorzoda is the Deputy Chair of the dissertation council for the defense of doctoral and candidate dissertations in the fields of tourism, marketing, and entrepreneurship. He is the author of 5 monographs, 6 books, and over 80 scientific articles on topics related to tourism, entrepreneurship, and the world economy.

In his professional capacity, professor Asrorzoda U.S. has established fruitful connections with educational and research institutions in neighboring countries, as well as in Spain, Netherlands, Georgia, India, Malaysia, Germany, United Kingdom, Qatar, and China, conducting official visits to strengthen collaboration.

For his significant contributions, Ubaidullo Asrorzoda was honored with several state awards and titles, including “Excellence in Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan” (2012), the Ismail Somoni Prize for Young Scientists in Science and Technology (2013), the Medal of “Khimati Shoista” (2018), and the Order of “Sharaf”, degree II (2024).
