Zulfiya Kurbonova is the Head of the International Relations Department of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor.
Since 2011, she has been actively working in the field of science and higher education. Her main areas of scientific activity include the problems of analyzing modern international relations, international security, in particular conflicts and conflict situations, as well as in the development of practical and effective recommendations for the prevention, management and resolution of conflicts in the modern world.
Professor Zulfiya Kurbonova is a member of dissertation councils for PhD and Post-Doctoral researches defenses in the fields of international relations, political science and conflictology. Under her supervision, a number of PhD dissertations in the fields of international relations, diplomacy and political science were prepared and have been successfully defended. She is the author of 9 monographs, 9 textbooks and over 120 scientific articles in the fields of international relations, diplomacy, political science, conflictology and higher education.
For her achievements, she was awarded the title of “Excellence in Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan” (2021).
At the university, Zulfiya Kurbonova oversees the direction that carries out the organizational and coordinating activities of the University in the field of international relations, aimed at integrating into the global educational system and strengthening its authority in the international arena.

Jahongir Mashokirov – head of the department of investment programs and project implementation of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan, candidate of economic sciences, associate professor.
In 2009, he graduated from the Tajik State Business University. Since 2010, he has been working in the field of science and higher education and has participated in several international projects. The main directions of his scientific and research activities include the development of the tourism industry, tourism services, international tourism and the development of tourism in the system of “green” economy.
