On February 19, 2026, in honor of the 33rd anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan, a solemn ceremonial event was held at the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan. The event took place in an atmosphere of patriotism, national pride, and appreciation for the dedicated service of the defenders of the Motherland.
The event was attended by the Rector of the University, Professor Ubaydullo Sattor Asrorzoda, representatives of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan, heads of military departments of higher educational institutions in Dushanbe, the administration and teaching staff of the University’s military department, as well as faculty members and students.
The ceremony began with an opening address by the Rector of the University. In his speech, Professor Ubaydullo Sattor Asrorzoda sincerely congratulated those present and, through them, all officers and soldiers of the country on the Day of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan. He emphasized that the Armed Forces, as a strong pillar of national statehood and a guarantor of security and social stability, play a decisive role in safeguarding state independence, territorial integrity, and the peaceful lives of citizens. It was noted that the wise and far-sighted policies of the country’s top leadership in strengthening national defense capabilities have enabled the national army to become a modern, powerful, and reliable force. At the same time, it was stressed that the University considers the education of young people in the spirit of patriotism, respect for the law, discipline, and readiness for devoted service to the Motherland as one of its primary responsibilities.
During the event, in a festive atmosphere, the winners of the final stage of the shooting competition were honored with diplomas, certificates of appreciation, and commemorative gifts. The competition had recently been organized among students of military departments of higher educational institutions across the country in honor of the 33rd anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan and for the “Cup of the Administration of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan.”
At the conclusion of the event, participants enjoyed a rich cultural program. The University’s cultural division, in cooperation with invited performers, further enhanced the festive atmosphere through patriotic songs and musical performances.
The event reflected the deep respect of the administration of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan for the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan and once again emphasized the importance of serving the Motherland, preserving peace and stability, and strengthening national statehood.
