On April 16, 2026, an international conference entitled “Modern Trends in the Legal Support of Sustainable Development, Digitalization, and Artificial Intelligence” was held at the Hilton Dushanbe.
The conference was organized within the framework of the International Forum “Cooperation for Sustainable Development: Green. Digital. Intelligent.” and brought together representatives of government institutions, research organizations, international organizations, and industry experts.
Professor Ubaidullo Sattor Asrorzoda, Rector of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan, participated in the conference and delivered a speech.
In his address, Professor Asrorzoda focused on the pressing issues of establishing legal foundations for sustainable development in the context of economic digitalization and the growing application of artificial intelligence. He emphasized that the development of a comprehensive legal framework for regulating digital processes and ensuring the effective use of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, is a key prerequisite for achieving sustainable development.
He also highlighted the necessity of adapting legislation to the demands of the modern era and underscored the important role of higher education institutions and research centers in developing scientific and theoretical foundations and preparing highly competitive specialists.
In conclusion, it was noted that the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan is actively implementing innovative educational programs, advancing scientific research, and strengthening international cooperation.
