ERASMUS+ — A CONFIDENT STEP TOWARD EUROPE WITH LEADING UNIVERSITY OF ROMANIA

From November 24 to 28, 2025, Researcher and Associate Professor Jahongir Mashokirov — Head of the Department for Project Implementation and Grant Acquisition at the Tajik International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship — paid a working visit to the King Mihai I University of Life Sciences in the city of Timișoara, Romania.

The academic visit began with a meeting with the leadership of the host university. The meeting was attended by Professor Raul Pascalau, Director of International Relations; Professor Andrea Feher, Erasmus+ Program Coordinator; and Professor Ramona Mariana, Dean of the Faculty of Agrarian Tourism Management. The parties discussed prospects for cooperation and expressed their readiness to expand scientific and educational ties.

During the meeting, the main areas of cooperation were identified:

  • student exchange within the Erasmus+ program;
  • academic exchange of teachers between the two universities;
  • Joint educational and research projects;
  • opportunities for attracting joint grants.

As part of the academic week, Associate Professor Jahongir Mashokirov participated in educational programs, studied European experience, and delivered an international academic lecture for students and faculty of the host university.

This working visit is of great importance for expanding international relations and moving toward the European higher education space.
