On October 29, 2025, the leadership of the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences (Germany), including Professor Markus Holz, Vice President for Research and Sustainability at the university; Professor Cornelia Scott, Director of the MBA Program; and Tatyana Nikitina, Director of the International Center for Financial Market Research, as well as a professor at the aforementioned university, visited the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan.
The guests were greeted by Ubaidullo Asrorzoda, Rector of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan, and a fruitful meeting took place. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on expanding strategic cooperation, organizing joint programs and projects, conducting academic student exchanges, inviting professors and faculty from both sides, expanding collaboration in developing and implementing joint research projects in the fields of sustainable tourism, digital and green technologies, implementing joint programs and double-degree education, holding joint university scientific conferences, and more.
During this meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed between the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan and the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences (Germany).
