On December 5, 2025, at the initiative of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of the Republic of Tajikistan, a delegation of the Trade Union of Education and Scientific Research of Egypt and the Trade Union of Education of Kuwait paid a working visit to the Tajik International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship.
The main purpose of the visit was to strengthen new horizons of cooperation in the field of trade unions, to become familiar with the training base for tourism specialists, the learning conditions, and the opportunities for collaboration in the development of education, joint scientific research, and tourism.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by the first vice-rector, the vice-rector for academic affairs Rahimov M.A., the vice-rector for international relations Jabborov F.A., the chairman of the university’s trade union Odinizoda K.S., and representatives of the university.
During the meeting, important areas of international cooperation were discussed, including the exchange of experience, collaboration in training industry specialists, implementation of joint programs with educational and scientific institutions of Egypt and Kuwait, as well as the organization of professional development courses.
In addition, the guests were introduced to the university’s infrastructure, including lecture rooms, laboratories, centers for green diplomacy, digitalization, sports tourism, the training hotel, the training studio, and other departments, and they highly praised the existing training facilities.
It was noted that the meeting opened new avenues for the development of cooperation and the strengthening of professional ties between the parties. The delegation expressed satisfaction with the university’s favorable environment and emphasized their readiness to continue effective collaboration.
At the end, the parties exchanged commemorative gifts as a symbol of friendship and the continuation of fruitful relations.
