PROJECT MANAGEMENT CENTER

International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan

The Project Management Center of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan was established based on the Charter in accordance with the with the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan No. 199 dated March 30, 2024.

The Project Management Center (PMC) is a specialized structure responsible for implementing projects in the fields of tourism, entrepreneurship, “green economy,” education, digitalization, infrastructure strengthening, commercialization of scientific results, and other areas based on grants from international organizations and funds, with the goal of developing these sectors. The activities of the PMC are carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan, international legal documents recognized by the Republic of Tajikistan, and other regulatory acts.

The Project Management Center (PMC) generally focuses on the following main areas of activity:

  1. Organization and Coordination of Project Activities:
  • Development and implementation of project management standards.
  • Coordination of project execution within the approved portfolio.
  • Ensuring monitoring and control over project implementation.
  1. Methodological Support:
  • Development of guidelines for project management.
  • Providing consultation to project participants.
  • Conducting training and educational events.
  1. Financial and Economic Support:
  • Planning and controlling project budgets.
  • Ensuring the efficient use of allocated resources.
  • Seeking external sources of funding, including grants and investments.
  1. Information Support:
  • Maintaining a unified database of projects.
  • Ensuring transparency in project implementation information.
  • Preparing reports for management and stakeholders.
  1. Development of Innovative Activities:
  • Identifying and implementing new technologies in project management.
  • Promoting the commercialization of innovative developments.
  1. International Cooperation:
  • Participation in international projects and grant programs.
  • Establishing partnerships with foreign organizations.

Currently, the PMC employs highly qualified specialists with deep theoretical knowledge and practical experience in management, as well as a successful track record in implementing large and complex projects across various sectors of the economy and social sphere.

Mohira Kodirova is a highly qualified professional with extensive experience in implementing international projects in areas such as sustainable development, agriculture, education, and tourism.

Her professional career includes involvement in a number of large-scale projects supported by international organizations, including the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, TEMPUS, the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan, VSO, and the World Bank.

Key achievements:

  • 2005–2006: Moderator of the project on sustainable resource use and rural development (ALS and CAMP), Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
  • 2011–2015: Coordinator of the TEMPUS DoQuP project on “Documentation for Quality Assurance in Education” at the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Service.
  • 2011–2014: Coordinator of the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan project “Ways and Methods of Improving Tourism Education in the Republic of Tajikistan.”
  • 2013–2014: Coordinator of the International Student Forum with the participation of British and Tajik students, titled “Old Forgotten – New Adventure” (international organization VSO).
  • 2019–2020: Coordinator of the World Bank project “Training Personnel for Sustainable Tourism Development in Tajikistan.”
  • 2019–2021: Manager of the World Bank project “Enhancing Education Quality through the Use of an Electronic Information and Educational Environment.”
  • 2019–2021: Expert for the World Bank project on developing curricula and securing international accreditation under the project “Implementing Innovations in Educational Services at Khorog State University Named After Nazarshoev, Based on Labor Market Requirements.”
  • 2021–2022: Consultant in GBAO for the World Bank’s “Rural Economy Development Project” under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan.
