In his speech, the Rector of the University, Professor Ubaydullo Asrorzoda, noted that the University was holding the closing ceremony of the competition for the “Rector’s Cup of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan.” This important scientific and educational event, held with the approval of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, once again confirmed that the country’s youth possess high intellectual potential, a scientific worldview, and a deep interest in knowledge.

The competition was organized as part of the practical implementation of the instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, in carrying out the Action Plan for the “Twenty Years of Study and Development of Natural, Exact, and Mathematical Sciences in the Field of Science and Education.” Today’s results clearly demonstrate that the education-oriented policy of the Leader of the Nation is being effectively implemented in practice and is achieving tangible results.

The Olympiad, conducted in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, information technology, and geography, served as a vivid example of strengthening the connection between school and university, identifying and supporting young talents, and preparing the future generation of competitive specialists.

It was noted with satisfaction that more than 1,000 11th-grade students from general secondary education institutions of Dushanbe participated in the final stage of the competition.

Special emphasis was placed on the fact that the administration of the examinations and the compilation of the results were organized with the participation of the National Testing Center under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, which fully ensured transparency, fairness, and confidence in the Olympiad results. Today, we honor the winners and active participants of this competition. However, it was stressed that every participant is already a winner, as each has chosen the path of knowledge, scientific thinking, and personal development.

It was also noted that the “Rector’s Cup of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan” has been held for six consecutive years across all regions of the country and at all levels of education, and this tradition will continue.

It was emphasized that the University administration has decided to provide today’s winners, in addition to the established prizes, with a number of benefits upon admission to the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan, including reduced tuition fees, opportunities for study abroad, and the allocation of rector’s scholarships.
