Today, with the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and with the support of the governments of both countries, the Third Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan was held.
The forum was aimed at strengthening scientific and educational cooperation and developing academic relations between the higher education institutions of the two countries.
As part of the event, a ceremony was held for the signing of several new cooperation agreements between higher education institutions of the two states.
Within the framework of the Forum, cooperation agreements were signed between the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan and the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, as well as the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service.
The purpose of these agreements is to develop academic cooperation, expand joint educational programs, facilitate student and faculty exchanges, and implement joint scientific projects in the fields of tourism, entrepreneurship, and services.
It should be noted that such initiatives contribute to strengthening scientific and educational ties between the universities of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan and create favorable conditions for the training of highly qualified specialists and the development of sustainable academic cooperation in the region.
