As part of efforts to strengthen international scientific and educational cooperation, expand academic ties, and exchange best teaching practices, a demonstration lecture featuring a legal scholar from the Russian Federation was held at the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan.
The lecture was organized and delivered by I. R. Saliev, Candidate of Legal Sciences from the Russian Federation, for students of the university’s Faculty of Law.
During the session, participants discussed current issues in the development of legal science, the improvement of the legislative system, the strengthening of the rule of law, the protection of human and civil rights and freedoms, and the role of legal institutions in maintaining social stability.
The visiting scholar shared his academic perspectives on contemporary trends in the development of legal relations, the importance of comparative legal research, the application of legal norms, and the need to adapt theoretical knowledge to the requirements of law enforcement practice.
Special attention was also given to improving legal awareness, fostering critical and analytical thinking, developing the professional skills of future legal practitioners, and incorporating international experience into the teaching and study of legal disciplines.
During the session, students had the opportunity to exchange views with the visiting scholar on important issues in contemporary legal studies. They also became acquainted with scientific approaches to analyzing legal phenomena and with the experience of teaching legal disciplines at higher education institutions in the Russian Federation.
It is worth noting that organizing such demonstration lectures with the participation of international scholars and researchers contributes to improving the quality of education, broadening students’ academic horizons, strengthening the connection between research and practice, and preparing highly qualified legal professionals.
