EXPANDING COOPERATION WITH CITY UNIVERSITY MALAYSIA

On the sidelines of the international forum “Cooperation for Sustainable Development: Green. Digital. Smart”, a productive meeting was held between the Rector of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan, Professor Ubaidullo Asrorzoda, and the Vice-Chancellor (VC) of City University Malaysia, Professor Rosnizah Shaari.

In an atmosphere of mutual understanding and trust, the parties conducted an in-depth discussion on key areas of academic cooperation and its future development.

During the meeting, the following priority areas of collaboration were discussed:

  • International student exchange programs;
  • Professional development and advanced training for academic staff;
  • Implementation of dual-degree educational programs;
  • Engagement of world-class professors and experts;
  • Development of joint research initiatives and innovative projects.

It was noted that over the past two months, two university lecturers have completed professional development courses at City University Malaysia, while eleven students are currently studying there under an academic exchange program.

Both sides emphasized that expanding such cooperation contributes to improving the quality of education, enhancing the competitiveness of graduates, and strengthening the positions of universities within the international higher education community.

The meeting was regarded as an important step toward building a sustainable partnership and implementing constructive initiatives, opening new horizons for the development of international cooperation.
