With the aim of contributing to the implementation of the state environmental protection policy and within the framework of carrying out the instructions and guidance of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Emomali Rahmon, as well as the constructive initiatives of the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan and Mayor of Dushanbe, Mr. Rustam Emomali, a public tree-planting campaign was held on March 1 of the current year in the Zafar district of Dushanbe.
The campaign was organized at the initiative of the administration of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan and was aimed at supporting the transformation of independent Tajikistan into a truly green and flourishing country, while creating a healthy living environment for present and future generations.
As part of this beautification and environmental initiative, the university’s leadership, a large number of employees, faculty members, and other representatives actively participated in planting more than 3,000 fruit-bearing and shade trees. In the future, these trees will not only enhance the beauty and freshness of the urban environment but will also play an important role in improving ecological conditions, reducing the negative effects of environmental factors, and creating comfortable recreational spaces for residents.
It is worth noting that the culture of tree planting and respect for nature are among the important values of modern society. The involvement of employees and educators in such activities strengthens their sense of responsibility and patriotism.
The university administration stated that greening and beautification initiatives will continue on a regular basis and that concrete measures will be implemented to contribute to the development of urban infrastructure and environmental protection.
