The International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan has been officially appointed as the National Coordinator of the UI GreenMetric Network and Green Initiatives in Tajikistan.
The receipt of this international certificate serves as recognition of the university’s achievements in promoting environmental sustainability and green initiatives.
From now on, the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan will serve as the main coordinating center for all higher education institutions in Tajikistan within the framework of the global UI GreenMetric Sustainable University Rankings.
The certificate was presented during the opening ceremony of the Green Universities Rectors’ Summit, held on April 15, 2026, within the framework of the International Forum “Cooperation for Sustainable Development: Green. Digital. Intelligent.” The certificate was awarded by Dr. Wisnu Juwono, Head of UI GreenMetric at Universitas Indonesia, to Professor Ubaidullo Sattor Asrorzoda, Rector of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan.
