OPENING OF THE INTERNATIONAL MASTER CLASS “MODERN TRENDS IN TOURISM JOURNALISM”

On April 16, 2026, the International Master Class entitled “Modern Trends in Tourism Journalism” commenced at the National Library of Tajikistan within the framework of the International Forum “Cooperation for Sustainable Development: Green. Digital. Intelligent.”

The opening ceremony was attended by the Rector of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan, Professor Ubaidullo Sattor Asrorzoda, the Chairman of the Tourism Development Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, representatives of the State Institution “Republican Center for Advanced Training of Personnel in Tourism and Service Sectors,” as well as course participants from both Tajikistan and abroad.

The event was organized with the aim of discussing emerging trends in journalism, the application of modern technologies, and strengthening the role of the media in the development of the tourism sector. During the master class, experts, specialists, and experienced journalists are expected to address issues related to digital content creation, the use of modern storytelling techniques, and the development of multimedia content.

It was emphasized that in today’s rapidly evolving digital environment, tourism journalism must adapt to new demands and utilize engaging and effective communication methods to promote Tajikistan’s tourism potential to the global community.

In addition, the master class covers the effective use of social media platforms, information marketing strategies, and audience engagement techniques, thereby creating favorable conditions for enhancing the professionalism and competitiveness of journalists.
