On January 20, 2025, the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan convened an oversight meeting under the leadership of Rector, Prof. Asrorzoda Ubaidullo Sattor.
The meeting focused on discussing strategic priorities related to the University’s development.
During the meeting, Prof. Asrorzoda Ubaidullo Sattor emphasized the digitalization of the university as a fundamental pillar of its strategic development. He highlighted that the digital transformation process not only facilitates innovative educational and administrative capabilities but also significantly enhances institutional efficiency and strengthens the university’s competitive standing at both national and international levels.
The Rector also addressed the university’s preparation for national and international Olympiads, underscoring it as a key priority. He issued specific directives to the responsible officials to ensure effective participation. In particular, he emphasized that fostering a high level of responsibility and diligently fulfilling professional commitments among faculty members could significantly contribute to students’ outstanding performance and achievements in these competitions.
Enhancing the quality of education was another key agenda item during the meeting. Addressing this issue, Prof. Asrorzoda Ubaidullo Sattor stressed that educational quality is not only a fundamental indicator of the university’s progress but also plays a crucial role in preparing highly competitive specialists for the global labor market.
Discussions also focused on the effective functioning of the university’s Scientific Research Institutes. The Rector placed special emphasis on strengthening these institutes as a vital mechanism for advancing scientific research, innovation, and development in the fields of tourism, entrepreneurship, and the green economy. Additionally, he underscored their role in enhancing the university’s participation in international rankings.
Furthermore, during the meeting, a number of young, talented professionals with proficiency in foreign languages were appointed to various university positions based on institutional structural needs, following a directive issued by the Rector.
At the conclusion of the oversight meeting, Prof. Asrorzoda Ubaidullo Sattor urged responsible officials to demonstrate dedication and integrity in fulfilling their duties. He emphasized that achieving the University’s strategic goals and ensuring its comprehensive advancement requires the collective commitment and sincere efforts of the entire academic and administrative staff.
