The Chair of Russian Language and Literature is considered one of the first and most successful chairs of the University. This chair was formed on the basis of the chair of Foreign Languages by the decision of the Academic Council of the University dated 29.06. 2024 under No. 380 and has been operating since September 1, 2024.
From the beginning of the 2024-2025 academic year, the chair began its activities as the Chair of Russian Language and Literature and during this period completed a lot of works. The Chair of Russian Language and Literature, as an integral part of the Humanities and Pedagogical Faculty, carries out its activities based on the requirements of the Laws of the Republic of Tajikistan
“On Education”, “On Higher Professional Education and Professional Education after Higher Education Institutions”, “Model Regulation on Higher Professional Educational Institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan”,
“Regulations of the Department of the Professional Higher Educational Institution of the Republic of Tajikistan” and other regulatory legal acts in the field of education.
Since the establishment of the chair, the teaching staff has set goals and objectives for teaching Russian language and literature in the preparation of highly qualified personnel. Activities to improve the professional qualifications of the teaching staff of the chair cover various aspects in the field of education. Including:
– training and education of students – as the main component of the development of society; – conducting scientific, methodological, cultural, educational and socio-political events with the aim of improving the professional activities of the faculty of the chair and expanding the horizons and level of knowledge of the Russian language of future specialists;
– preparation of textbooks, methodical manuals and didactic materials for all university specialists
– improving the level of knowledge of the language in the specialty, interpersonal communication and teaching the Russian language as a language of international communication.
Currently, the chair carries out its pedagogical activities and makes every efforts to teach the students the Russian language and literature on a daily basis, contributing their share to the development of science in Tajikistan and the training of highly qualified specialists who meets the requirements of the modern labor market, the following teachers, such as:

Graduates of these specialties can work in all secondary and higher educational institutions, kinder gardens, state and non-state lyceums and gymnasiums, Russian language courses, state institutions and private companies.
Graduates of these specialties, possessing high specialized knowledge, appropriate qualifications and competence, can work in other areas corresponding to their field of activity.
Bachelors in this professional activity prepare: Russian language teachers, translators and research workers. This educational program is implemented in accordance with the direction and trend. Teachers with a bachelor’s degree can continue their education at the second level of higher professional education – a master’s degree in the corresponding specialty and direction.

Rustamova Gulandom Rustamovna – Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Humanities and Pedagogical Faculty of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan.
Has been working in the field of higher education since 1993, is known as a teacher of Russian language and literature in higher education institutions. The main areas of his research activities are the development of the modern Russian language (syntax) and Russian-Tajik literary relations in the 20th century.
She began her teaching career after graduating from the Bokhtar State University named after Nosir Khusrav, Department of Theory of Linguistics and Typology of Foreign Languages. In 2007-2009 – Head of the Department of Russian and World Literature of the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Aini, Secretary of the Academic Council of the Tajik Energy Institute (2009-2014), Head of the Department of Humanities (2010-2014), Head of the General University Department of Russian Language of the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Aini, since 2018 – Professor of the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Tajik International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship.
In May 2017, at the dissertation council of the Tajik National University, under the supervision of Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan Mirzo Mulloakhmad, she defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic “Russian-Tajik literary relations in the 20th century (based on the context of L.N. Tolstoy’s works)” (10.01.03 – literary relations), and in the same year she received the academic degree of Doctor of Philological Sciences.
Professor Rustamova G.R. is the scientific supervisor of several postgraduate students, two of whom defended their dissertations and received the academic degree of candidate of philological sciences.
She is the author of 2 textbooks (by decision of the Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan), 3 monographs, 6 teaching aids, 4 methodological manuals, 30 peer-reviewed articles in publications of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Russian Federation, as well as more than 80 articles of national and international level in various areas of Russian philology.

Nazarova Ramziya Sadulloevna – Candidate of Philological Sciences, Acting Associate Professor of the Department of Russian Language and Literature, Faculty of Humanitarian and Pedagogical Sciences of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan.
Since 2010, she has been working in the field of education and higher education, and is known as a teacher of Russian language and literature in higher education.
She began her teaching career while being a student at the Kulob State University named after Abuabdulloh Rudaki. at secondary school No.in a city of Kulob from 2010 to 2015. In 2016 – 2019, she worked as an assistant at the Department of Russian Language of the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics.
In 2020-2021, she worked at the Technical College of the Tajik Technical University named after M. Osimi worked as the head of the department of “Humanitian science” and from 2022 to 2024 she held the position of head of the department of “Foreign Languages” at the same institution.
Since September 2024, she has been working as a teacher of the Russian language at the Department of “Russian Language and Literature” of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor.
At the Dissertation Council at the Institute of Language and Literature named after A. Rudaki of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan on December 31, 2019 in the specialty 10.01.08 – Comparative Typology. Textual critic, under the supervision of Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Mulloev A. A. on the topic “Problems of Recreating the Works of M.U. Lermontov in Tajik Translations” and received the title of Candidate of Philological Sciences.

Sharipova F. L. began her pedagogical activity after graduating from TNU named after V.I. Lenin, (from 1983 to 1984) as a teacher of Russian language and literature as a teacher of Russian language and literature in 8-year school No.18 of Faizabad district of Tajik SSR.
From 1984 to 1993 she worked as a teacher of Russian language and literature in 8-year school № 210 of Lenin district of Tajik SSR.
She started her professionaland pedagogical teaching activity in the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan in September 1993 at the department of Languages, ‘Ethics and Culture’, ‘Culture of Entrepreneurship and Language’ as a senior teacher of Russian language.
From January 2007 to September 2010 she fulfilled the duties of Deputy Dean for Educational Work initially at the Faculty of Distance Learning, and then at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality.
In September 2010, she was appointed as a Head of the Education Department of the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Service, where she worked until 2013. In the course of his professional activity in the period 2007 – 2013 and from September 2013 to the present time continues his pedagogical activity at the departments of ‘Tajik and Russian languages’, ‘Russian language’, ‘Foreign languages’, ‘Russian language and literature’ as a senior teacher of Russian language.
She is the author of 51 scientific and methodological and journalistic articles and 8 teaching aids.

From 1983 to 1992, I worked as a teacher of Russian literature at school #26 in the Vakhsh district.
From 1992 to 2003, I worked as a teacher of the Tajik language (in classes with Russian as the language of instruction) at school #54 in the Sino district of Dushanbe.
From 2005 to 2012, I worked as the head of the HR department of “Tursunzade Electric Networks” in the city of Tursunzade.
Since 2016, I have been working as a senior lecturer at the Department of Russian Language and Literature (now the Department of Russian Language and Literature).
Over the course of my career, I have written one book, “Collection of Dictations,” and several articles.

Akhmedova Shakhlo is the assistant of the Russian Languages and Literature Department at the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan. Aspirant member of the Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan.
Since 1997, he has been actively working in the fields of science and higher education of the republic of Tajikistan.

Babakhanova Firuza Rahmatjanovna

Babakhanova Firuza Rahmatjanovna – is an assistant of the Department of Russian Language and Literature of the Humanities and Pedagogical Faculty of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan.
She has been working in the field of higher education since 2010 as a teacher of Russian language and literature in higher education institutions.
She began her teaching career after graduating from the Dushanbe State Pedagogical Institute of Sadriddin Aini, Department of Russian Language and Literature, name in 2010 she began her career as the secondary comprehensive scool №. 85, from 2010 to 2022 she has the highest teaching category, then worked as a part-time teacher of Russian at the Mirzo Tursunzoda institute of Arts from 2022 and to 2024.
Since January 2024 and up to now I have been working at the Department of « Russian Language and Litrerature» at the international University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan, as a teacher of Russian.

Kushakova I.A. started her teaching career in 2008 as a teacher of Russian language and literature at the International Institute of Innovation and Communication of Tajikistan, where she continued her career in 2010. From 2011 to 2016, she worked as a clerk in the education department of the Institute of the Entrepreneurship and Service.
