As part of the expansion of international cooperation and the strengthening of academic, educational, and cultural relations, the Chairman of the Board of Founders of the Institute of Cultural Diplomacy of the United Arab Emirates paid a visit to the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan.
During the working visit, the guest was received by the Rector of the university, Professor Ubaydullo Asrorzoda. During the conversation, it was emphasized that the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan, as the country’s first international university, places special importance on the development of international cooperation, scientific and cultural diplomacy, strengthening intercultural dialogue, and expanding partnerships with reputable international institutions.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to strengthening cooperation in the fields of cultural diplomacy, “green” diplomacy, development of intercultural dialogue, academic exchange of faculty members and students, implementation of joint educational and research programs, organization of training courses and international seminars, as well as launching joint initiatives in tourism, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development.
At the same time, opportunities for establishing joint scientific and cultural platforms, organizing forums, conferences, summer schools, and international events with the participation of experts and researchers from both sides were discussed.
The Chairman of the Board of Founders of the Institute of Cultural Diplomacy of the United Arab Emirates highly appreciated the university’s significant achievements in the internationalization of education, development of modern infrastructure, and its international initiatives, and expressed readiness to establish long-term cooperation and implement joint projects.
At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed their commitment to strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation, preparing formal cooperation documents, and implementing joint initiatives in the fields of education, science, culture, and international diplomacy. A tour of the university’s educational and scientific infrastructure was also organized for the guest, during which he visited modern classrooms, educational centers, laboratories, and other facilities of the university.
