CONSULTATIVE SEMINAR OF THE HIGHER ATTESTATION COMMISSION UNDER THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN HELD AT THE UNIVERSITY

On June 2, 2026, a consultative seminar of the State Institution “Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan” was held at the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan on the topic “Improving the Quality of Scientific Research, Dissertation Theses, and Scientific Journals.”

The event was opened by the Rector of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Ubaydullo Asrorzoda, who welcomed the guests and participants. In his speech, he emphasized that the development of science, strengthening of research culture, improving the quality of scientific research work, and aligning it with international standards are among the priority directions of the university’s activities.

During the seminar, the Chairman of the State Institution “Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan,” Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, Sayfiddin Khayriddin Davlatzoda, delivered a detailed presentation on state policy in the field of certification of scientific and academic personnel, modern requirements for dissertation theses, and ways to improve the quality of scientific research.

At the same time, Mavzuna Aslamjon Karimzoda, Head of the Certification Department for Social Sciences of the Higher Attestation Commission, discussed issues related to the preparation of dissertation theses, compliance with regulatory requirements, and prevention of common shortcomings in the submission of scientific works.

In another part of the seminar, Durandesh Alisher Sharifzoda, Head of the Information and Scientific Journals Division of the Higher Attestation Commission, spoke about requirements for scientific journals, improving the quality of scientific articles, indexing issues, compliance with publishing ethics standards, and the development of scientific journals of higher education institutions.

The seminar was attended by heads of scientific departments, deans, heads of departments, members of dissertation councils, researchers, applicants, PhD doctoral students, and university faculty members, who exchanged views with representatives of the Higher Attestation Commission on key issues of scientific activity.

The seminar was held in a constructive atmosphere and is expected to make a significant contribution to improving research activities, enhancing the quality of dissertation theses, and developing scientific publications.
