On April 17 of this year, an international conference entitled “Modern Methods of Foreign Language Teaching in the Context of Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence Development” was held at the National Library of Tajikistan.
The event was attended and addressed by the First Deputy Rector of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan, Mr. Mirzohid Rahimov, as well as representatives of educational and scientific institutions, experts, and researchers from within the country and abroad.
In his opening remarks, First Deputy Rector Mirzohid Rahimov stated that in the context of globalization and the rapid development of digital technologies, including artificial intelligence, the improvement of foreign language teaching methods has become increasingly important. He emphasized that the use of innovative technologies, digital platforms, and AI-based applications creates opportunities to improve the quality of education and make the learning process more interactive and effective.
He also noted that adapting educational programs to modern requirements, introducing innovative pedagogical approaches, and improving teachers’ digital skills are key factors in the development of foreign language education.
The conference continued with participants exchanging views on national and international experiences, the use of digital technologies in language teaching, the role of artificial intelligence in developing educational materials, and ways to improve the quality of education.
