The Chair of Russian Language and Literature

The Chair of Russian Language and Literature is considered one of the first and most successful chairs in  University. This chair was formed on the basis of the chair of Foreign Languages ​​by the decision of the Academic Council of the University dated 29.06. 2024 under No. 380 and has been operating since September 1, 2024.

From the 2024-2025 academic year, the chair began   activities  as the Chair of Russian Language and Literature and during this period completed many scitific works. The Chair of Russian Language and Literature, one of   the  integral part of the Humanities and Pedagogical Faculty, carries out its activities based on the requirements of the Laws of the Republic of Tajikistan

“About Education”, “Higher Professional Education and Professional Education after Higher Education Institutions”, “Model Regulation  Higher Professional Educational  Institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan”,

“Regulations of the Department of the Professional Higher Educational Institution of the Republic of Tajikistan” and other regulatory legal   acts in the field of education.

Since the establishment of the chair, the teaching staff has set purpose   and objectives for teaching Russian language and literature in the make   of higher  qualified human resources teaching staff activities for improve the professional qualifications of the chair bodies various aspects in the field of education. Including:

– training and education of students – as the main component of the development of society; – conducting scientific, methodological, cultural, educational and socio-political events with the aim of improving the professional activities of the faculty of the chair and expanding the horizons and level of knowledge of the Russian language of future specialists;

– preparation of textbooks, methodical books and didactic materials for all university specialists

–  knowledge improving of the language affair on specialty, interpersonal communication and teaching the Russian language as a language of international communication.

       Currently, the chair carries out its pedagogical activities and makes every efforts to teach the students the Russian language and literature on a daily basis, contributing their share to the development of science in Tajikistan and the training of highly qualified specialists who meets the requirements of the modern labor market, the following teachers, such as:

         The chair trains and graduates specialists in the following specialties:

1-020306 “Russian language”,

Graduates of these specialties can work in all secondary and higher educational institutions, kinder gardens, state and non-state lyceums and gymnasiums, Russian language courses, state institutions and private companies.

       Graduates of these specialties, possessing high specialized knowledge, appropriate qualifications and competence, can work in other areas corresponding to their field of his activities.

          Bachelors in this professional activity prepare: Russian language teachers, translators and research workers. This educational program is implemented in accordance with the direction and trend. Teachers with a bachelor’s degree can continue their education at the second level of higher professional education – a master’s degree in the corresponding specialty and direction.
