On April 18, 2026, following his participation in the international conference held within the framework of the international forum “Cooperation for Sustainable Development: Green. Digital. Smart.”, the Rector of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan, Professor Ubaidullo Asrorzoda, visited the construction site of the new academic buildings of the University’s International Institute of Khujand to review the progress of the ongoing works.
It is worth noting that the foundation stone for the construction of these educational facilities was laid on August 30, 2025, by the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon.
This initiative, implemented with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, will represent a significant contribution by the University to the development of the country’s educational infrastructure and to creating modern learning conditions for the younger generation.
Construction of the academic buildings commenced in December 2025 and is currently progressing at a high standard of quality and efficiency.
During the visit, Professor Ubaidullo Sattor Asrorzoda met with the responsible officials and provided specific instructions aimed at accelerating the construction process and ensuring the completion and commissioning of the facilities in accordance with the highest quality standards.
